About us
FUHR develops highly specialized wire rolling mills for the widest range of industrial applications. As a supplier of complete turnkey solutions, we develop and construct tailor-made equipment and systems in close collaboration with our clients – systems that integrate seamlessly into existing processes on site.
We are a medium-sized family-owned and managed company in the third generation, which can look back on more than 75 years of know-how in the construction of rolling lines and special machinery. For more than 80 years, FUHR has specialized in the development and manufacture of rolling technology for the production of high-precision flat wire, shaped wire and special profiles. Our solutions are designed for continuous production processes where dimensional accuracy, surface quality, repeatability and process stability are critical success factors.
The product portfolio ranges from individual rolling mills, roll heads and process components to fully integrated turnkey production lines. Depending on the application, FUHR systems combine rolling, inline profiling, measurement and automation technologies into a coordinated production process. All equipment is developed with a strong focus on modularity, enabling both new installations and the modernization or expansion of existing production lines.
Beyond machine design, FUHR provides comprehensive process engineering and application support. Every project begins with a detailed evaluation of the customer's material, product geometry, production targets and quality requirements.
